Trekking Baltoro Glacier– Itinerary
This day starts with welcoming our international guests to the airport. We will provide you with the whole facility of pick-up and drop-off services along with the arrangements of hotels that must have been booked before your arrival. But you will be responsible for informing us of your flights before 5 days of your arrival. You can spot our transport staff through our company batch. We will provide you with porters to carry limited-weight luggage. After resting for 2 to 3 hours, our guides will give our guests a city tour that may include some famous and historical places like Damen Koh, Faisal Mosque, and Centaurus.

We will go to Islamabad airport in the early morning for our early flight to Skardu. During the flight, you can observe the outside views of other peaks, such as Nanga Parbat. After you reach Skardu airport, our local staff will pick you up and take you to the reserved hotel according to your preferences. You will eat some food and rest for 3 hours. After that, we will visit Sadpara Lake to capture the stunning mountain and sea views. We will also visit local markets for your shopping and cultural experience. At last, you will return to your hotel for a night’s stay.

Skardu is full of beautiful and picturesque locations. On this day, we will enjoy visiting famous and historical places of Skardu, like Kharpocho Fort. We will go to the top of this Fort, and you can see the whole view of Skardu City. We will also take you to Shangrilla and Katchura Lake on this day. You can get excited at that place with the boating facilities and delicious local foods.
While returning, you will be delighted with the availability of Skardu’s famous and tasty food item, Mamtu. Other regional dishes will also be provided based on your demands and preferences. After that, you will visit other markets in Skardu again to buy extra snacks for your trekking adventure. Finally, we will return to the hotels and prepare for the K2 Glacier Trek.

This day will be full of trekking and driving adventures as we move to our first camping destination, Mongron Camp. We will start our early morning drive towards Shigar, and after half an hour of driving, we will reach Shigar. You will visit the Lush green valleys of Shigar, Shigar Fort, and Shigar River. After that, you will drive towards Askoli village, the last village before Balotoro Glacier Trek. After a long drive of 7 hours, we will be trekking through the Braldu River to reach Askoli village, where our porters will join us.
After resting for an hour at Askoli village, we will drive for half an hour to Korofon Camp. At this point, we will leave our jeep and start trekking to Mongron Camp. During our trekking, we will see the first peak, Bokhordas Peak. At last, we will reach Mongron Camp, where our staff will establish tents and provide you with all the facilities for camping purposes. You will enjoy the camping adventure for a whole night.

You will be given breakfast in the early morning, and then we will start trekking to Baltoro Glacier. After trekking for 6 Hours, we will reach Paiyu Camp. At this spot, you will shoot photos to capture the mesmerizing beauty of this place. After leaving Paiyu, we will be going closer to Baltoro Glacier. On this day, you will start the morning trek to Khoburtse, and during our journey, we will be admiring the mountain scenes and iconic peak views. You will be exploring splendid views of Trango Towers and Cathedral Park. We will rest at Trango Towers and take our lunch. After that, the trek will continue, following the rugged and rough route. Ultimately, after 5 hours of trekking, we will reach Khoburtse for a whole night camping adventure.

After early breakfast, you will start your trek towards Baltoro Glacier. The destination for this day is Urdukas, the second scenic camp after Concordia camp. After 4 to 5 hours, we will reach Urdukas, enjoying the breathtaking views of various peaks, including Trango, Uli Biaho, and Cathedral. Finally, we will arrive in Urdukas, and you will be free to rest in your established camps. A whole night stay at Urdukas will give you pleasure and excitement.

This day will be free as we will not be covering the distance from Urdukas. You will be allowed to rest at this spot for a whole day. You can shoot your photos and also cook if you want.

On this day, we will again start our trek after resting for 24 hours. Now, it is time to trek on glaciers. During the journey, beautiful views will be explored. On our right side, there will be a breathtaking view of Masharbrum, and the scenic view of Muztagh will be explored on the left side. After trekking for 3 to 4 hours, we will reach Goro I, where we have lunch and rest for a while.
After one hour, we will resume our Baltoro Glacier trekking by moving towards Goro II. At this spot, you will enjoy the thin air and windy clouds. We will reach Goro II late in the evening. Our staff will give you a delicious dinner, and you will enjoy overnight camping at this spot.

This day will be full of adventure and enjoyment as you trek through Baltoro Glacier. After 5 to 6 hours of hiking from Goro II, You will reach Concordia. Concordia is one of the most adventurous places on the planet. By standing at Concordia, you can observe the breathtaking views of other famous peaks, such as K2, Broad Peak, Marble Peak, Gasherbrum 3, and Mitre Peak. At Concordia, trekkers face high altitude, ice formation, and heavy wind challenges. We will be camping at this spot for a night.

On this day, we will schedule our trek according to the trekker’s preferences. Most trekkers want to explore the K2 Base Camp, while some decide to visit Broad Peak Base Camp and then return to Concordia for the journey toward Mongro Camp.
Those who want to visit Broad Peak Base Camp and K2 Base Camp will rise early in the morning to resume Baltoro Glacier Trekking. The journey to Broad Peak Base Camp is challenging, as we face glacier crossings and frozen temperatures. After 3 to 4 hours of trekking, we will reach Broad Peak Base Camp. At this point, you will take photos, and our staff will prepare your food. After having lunch at Broad Peak Base Camp, we will finally reach our ultimate destination: K2 Base Camp.
At K2 Base Camp, standing at an altitude of 4998m, we will explore and admire the breathtaking views of this spot. We will also perform short hiking towards K2 Peak. After the photographic session, we will eat our dinner and stay at the K2 base camp for a night.

After a long trek of 4 to 5 hours, you will reach Concordia camp for your return journey. This day will be a rest day for those who prefer to stay at Concordia without trekking to K2 Base Camp. The return journey, mountain scenes, and heavy wind experiences are also exciting. Trekkers will stay at Concordia for one more night.

On this day, we will trek back to Goro II. We will follow the same route that we followed while trekking to K2 Baltoro Glacier. At first, we will reach Goro II, where you will take your lunch and enjoy hot tea. After that, we will trek to Goro I. At this spot, we will eat dinner and camp for a whole night.

On this day, we will start our morning trek to Khoburtse, following the previous route. After covering half the distance from Goro II, we will reach Urdukas, where we will take our lunch and rest for two hours. After that, we will resume trekking and reach Khoburtse after trekking for 6 hours from Goro I. There will be a whole-night camping arrangement for trekkers at this spot.

Covering a long distance through rugged terrain, we will eventually reach Paju, from where we started our journey for the Baltoro Glacier Trekking. It is the point where the trekkers leave their transport to experience a trekking adventure. After reaching Paju, you will receive a cup of hot coffee to make yourself fresh and healthy. You will camp at Paju for a night.

On this day, we will return to our first camping site, Mongron Camp. This will be the last day of our camping, and we will enjoy the scenic views of mountains and lush green valleys surrounding this camping site. You will stay at Mongron Camp for a night.

On this day, we will conclude the Baltoro Glacier Trek by leaving the trekking sites. You will get seats in your respective jeeps. After that, we will go back to Skardu. At this place, you will rest for 3 hours in your hotel, and then you can go to the markets to buy anything you want.
